Pumpkin Pickin'!

It was finally time for us to chose our three pumpkins at a local pumpkin patch. We have the same names for our pumpkins every year: Frank (Dad's), Humphrey (Mom's), and Casper (Alyssa's). Our pumpkins take different shapes and sizes every year!

Apple Harvest Festival

We took a day trip to the Grave's Mountain Apple Harvest Festival in Syria, VA. The festival was full of fall fun for all - pumpkins, apple butter, hayrides, bluegrass music, and more! We had a wonderful time.

Fall Festival

See? I'm not kidding when I say I like to take advantage of all things Fall. Especially Fall Festivals. This one in particular had a train ride, pumpkin painting, merry-go-round, spinning teacups, and more! Another wonderful day out with Miss Alyssa!

Pumpkin Playground!

In the spirit of all things Fall, and because the Nardis love taking advantage of pumpkins, Halloween, hayrides, and gorgeous weather, Alyssa and Mommy visited a fun Pumpkin Playground which included all of that and more! She had the best time! Here are some highlights:

Proud Wife Alert: NYU's Brand New DC Campus

I'm so proud of Mike! Through his new job, he played a huge and important part of creating NYU's brand new DC campus. It's a gorgeous facility and I was so honored to join him for the ribbon cutting ceremony. The Washington Post even wrote an article about it, which you can read here.

GO NATS: Division Champs!

We got to see the Nationals play the Phillies from a fancy Suite at Nats stadium! The Nats may have lost the game, but they clinched the Division - it was incredible to be there for the team when they announced the Division Champs! YAY!
