The Home Stretch!

This is it...our last trimester! I am 28 weeks, with only 12 more weeks to go before our due date on April 20. Alyssa Marie will be here very soon and we couldn't be happier!

26 weeks and Feeling Great!

We just signed up for Birth Preparation classes through INOVA, which we'll take at the end of the month. I'm feeling great at 26 weeks! April 20 will be here before we know it! :)

RJD2 at 9:30 Club

We got to see one of our favorite DJ's over the weekend at the 9:30 Club. RJD2 preformed to a sold out show, and we were right up front to watch him for his first show on his tour! It was a blast. Afterwards, we went up to him as he was signing autographs and told him that we saw him at Red Rocks for Bisco Inferno last May and love his music!

Merry Christmas from our family to yours!

It was amazing to spend our first Christmas together in our new home. Our tree was so tall it scratched our ceiling! Thank you to our moms who gave us old family ornaments, and to all of our family and friends who gave us new ones! Santa Ashley gave Mike a new robe for Christmas, which he absolutely loved! And Mike got me a new *PINK* camera!

Snowed In!

We were hit by the big DC blizzard of 2009! I flew home from Denmark on Saturday, December 19 and was one of only 20 planes allowed to land at Dulles airport that day. This is what we woke up to the next morning! Thank you to Mike for shoveling all that snow!

Welcome to Nardia!

We recently moved to our new home in Burke where we celebrated our first Christmas together. It was magical! To add to the holiday cheer our nephew Nicolas was born on December 21st.
