My wonderful mother and sister-in-law threw me a beautiful baby shower! Everything was just gorgeous - from the decorations, food, games and drinks - I had the best day celebrating the coming of our daughter and couldn't be more thankful for such wonderful family and friends to share this joy with. Only two months until she arrives and I must say, she will be the best-dressed little girl we've ever seen. ;-)

Snowmaggedon left us with some not-so-welcome icicles hanging onto our gutters. Mike came to the rescue and knocked them all down!

Well, we're both snowed in and waiting for the next storm. What better a time to paint Alyssa's room than now? Mike was busy today coating the first wall with the lovely lavender color I chose while I watched and took pictures! :)

Mike and I are STILL snowed in. We haven't seen any plows on our streets, the VRE train isn't running today, his office is closed and I am working from home. Needless to say, with another snow storm pending for our area, it doesn't look like we'll be going anywhere soon! We did have quite the adventure over the weekend, treking all the way to my mom's house on Saturday afternoon...with some great pics of our journey!
